Stolen Photos

Since our camera has been out of commission for the past few months, I have taken upon myself to "steal" some pix from Bethany. Ok, when I say steal I mostly mean, she gave them to me to make my dad his yearly calendar and I have taken the liberty of posting a few of my favs.  I feel I am pretty safe in posting them knowing my parents NEVER read our blog, or know that our blog exists as a matter of fact.  Most all of my favorite pictures are the ones without color  coordinated outfits, perfectly picturesque scenes and teethy smilies.  They are the no joke, unscripted minuets of life that every once in while get captured. ENJOY! (Thanks Buff!)

We took SO many family pictures for the 4th and this is BY FAR the best representative of our family unit.

We didn't get very many pictures from Halloween, I blame it on the fact it was on a Sunday and not that we have not yet found our camera charger.

In the Spirit of Thanksgiving

 I love, love, love the little movie clips that you find on the church website.  If I have nothing really to do I meander over to lds.org and see what new clips they have posted.  Nerdy I know, but they find a way to touch my heart and bring me and my family closer to Christ.  


I especially liked this one because at the end of it, it shows a clip of the talk that President Monson gave on gratitude.  I love the way he coined the phrase "attitude for gratitude"

Nowadays,

So, If I were to be a 'top notch' mom/blogger I would post all of these AMAZING Halloween pictures. But as it turns out, things have been a little more than hectic around our house and it seems as if we have completely LOST our camera battery charger and hence, no real Halloween 2010 pics. None-the-less, I can report, it was actually a great Halloween this year.


Our Halloween 2010 consisted of 2 Trunk-or-Treats and a Halloween Bash at my Aunt Natalie's (as usual).  Britta was Foofa from Yo Gabba Gabba and I was so very proud of her costume.  I would love to say I made it by myself BUT, my mom mostly made it, I was a helper. SHOUT OUT to the most amazing domestic goddess I know, my MOM!  It turned out great, but I am not sure many people knew what she was because you would just have been a pink little girl running around with sprayed pink hair if you had never seen the show.  We got good guesses though! We got a jelly bean, a flower, and a few other "oh, she is so cute.... what is she?" So my lesson has been learned... just buy the stupid, cheap-butt, store bought costume! 


Now it is November and we are looking forward to Thanksgiving! When I was younger (as in my teens) I actually HATED Thanksgiving.  After Gunnar and I were married and I gained a whole new family I have learned to LOVE Thanksgiving because of them!  Hopefully our camera will be up and running by then and we will have pics for Thanksgiving 2010.  Well, at least I can hope for it! 


Ps. Lets be honest I am more pushing to get the camera up and running for "The Weepies" concert on the 23rd but hey, thats the same week as Thanksgiving so it counts!

All This Blog, And Nothing To Fill It With!

 So it has occurred to me, I have this neato blog and I can't seem to come up with anything to post.  Well anything that is interesting enough to post according to my standards.  As I creep on everyone else's blog they always have fun and exciting topics they talk about but me, blank.  So I have resorted to just posting pics and stuff of what we have been up to lately.  

We recently went for our first winter hike at San Tan! It was a blast!

Britta was pretty excited about it.

Britta has officially ditched her high chair and has deemed herself old enough for "big girl chair"

Make-up has become one of her specialties.  

She got the cutest kitchen for her birthday from my parents and it really is the only toy she actually plays with.  

    

We hope to have more fun and exciting things coming our way so we will have way more interesting posts.  As for now, this is as exciting as us Bergeson's get!

     Ok, So I apologize for the ginormous amount of photos on this post but, it was a fun party! We had a great time and for the first time in her life Britta celebrated her birthday without any tears! At our house that is success!
